Heroes are everywhere, in everyone; we just need to learn how to find them.
![]() The other day I was heartened to find people weren't quite as shallow as I'd thought. I casually flung 'heroes' into Pinterest just to see what would come up, expecting to find movie heroes, or hunks, but I was wrong. What there was, was heart-warming. It was actually full of REAL heroes and the stories of their deeds. I thought today I would share some of these with you, to showcase the good in the world. He takes none of it for himself, but has donated thousands to orphanages over the years. I couldn't find the source, but I'm sure I remember the incident. Heroes are everywhere, in everyone; we just need to learn how to find them.

What a lovely post and timely reminder that, despite the violence, there are lots of generous compassionate people in this world. One of my favourites is the man who, despite prejudice and opposition, fought for affordable sanitary protection in real rural India http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-26260978
