I am so with you on the eyes thing, particularly blue. :-) Aaaah!
Sense of humor is also VERY important, as well as intelligence. So is a sense of style. As for hair color….ummmm…..red head, brunette, dirty blond, whatever. I’m a sucker for an English or Scottish accent, too. Basically anybody who resembles Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Ben Affleck or Rob Kazinsky that has a killer sense of humor is welcome to meet me for an adult beverage or cup of coffee/tea anytime.
Yep, he'll do! Okay so we have your current fantasy, how about your old crushes. Any of those you care to share with us?
My childhood crushes ranged from Johnny Depp to Jonathan Knight from NKOTB. Confession: I still love Jonathan Knight and I’m not ashamed to admit it.
Well I wasn't a New Kids fan myself, but I'm beginning to see the attraction! ;-)
I wanted to be an astronaut. I’m a total space geek. Planets and space travel have always captivated my imagination. When I was eight, I wrote a huge report on Saturn and Jupiter. I’m so fascinated by what’s out there in the universe. So, naturally, instead of focusing on math and science in school to go work at NASA, I discovered I enjoyed singing, acting and writing much more and ended up working in TV and radio. I still star gaze all the time though.
Yeah! Wrong sort of stars, though, Lynn!!! ;-) So what did you like to read back then?
I read every single Judy Blume and Francine Pascal book I could get my hands on. I’d go the library once a week and check out at least five books at a time. The Sweet Valley High and Sweet Valley Twins series were my absolute favorites.
When I was thirteen or fourteen, I read my first horror novel (The Exorcist). After that it was Pet Sematary. Then it was goodbye Sweet Valley, hello Stephen King. I read basically everything he wrote. I read The Stand when I was sixteen. I firmly believe it’s the best book ever written.
And just so you don’t think I’m a complete psychopath, I also adore the Harry Potter series. Goblet of Fire is my favorite and if Cedric Diggory had lived, we’d so be dating.
I hear you. :-) Thanks for dropping by, Lynn, but before you disappear back off to your wine soaked (usually) sunny homeland, let's not forget to mention your books. I little birdy tells me there's one just waiting to be pubbed and I do believe we can catch a little taster of it in the latest freebee to come out of Harper Impulse, 'Loving New Year, Love Romance'.
The first chapter of Lynn Montagano's debut, 'Catch My Breath' can be downloaded now.
