She is also a regular contributor to writing blogs and the on-line magazine, Love a Happy nding Lifestyle http://www.loveahappyending.com/.
This is the woman who had the dubious pleasure of having her latest book 'Do You Remember' launched on the same day as my own. Welcome, Mandy. Pull up a chair and tell me... Who is your ideal man?
Oooo, me too, me too!
You can tell a lot about a man from his eyes in my opinion. I’ve never gone for those traditionally handsome men – not a fan of Henry Cavill like most, or Colin Firth or even man-of-the-moment Chris Hemsworth – I prefer the quirky good looks of Nicolas Cage, Bruce Willis or Daniel Craig. I do have a bit of a thing for large noses on men! There’s something about a strong, Roman nose *sigh*
I'm with you on that. I happen to be a fan of both Mark Strong and Dimitar Berbatov (although some might say they are one and the same man - very similar) and they would fit nicely in with that.
I had a huge crush on Gazza (Paul Gascoigne ex-England footballer). World Cup Italia 1990 was huge and being at a boy-starved girls school we got obsessed by the England football team that year. We formed our own team and used to play non-stop during breaks. I loved the bad boy, off-the-wall, crazy genius of him even before he cried and the whole nation fell in love with him.
Oh, I think we should, don't you? :-)
Mandy Baggot, was this you?
I dreamed of being a policewoman! I think this was more down to
the fact I loved watching The Bill than anything else. Unfortunately I was
hampered from the start because, back in those days, you had to be a certain height and have terrific eyesight. As a five foot midget with terrible vision it was never going to work!
Same as me!!! We seem to be very alike. (Apart from the whole Gazza/Joey thing, obviously!)
What about books? What were you reading back in the day?
When I was a child I lapped up anything by Enid Blyton. The Famous Five and The Faraway Tree Series. I also loved the Malory Towers books and The Twins at St Clare’s.
As a teenager I was into Judy Blume and ‘that’ book, Forever. We
all remember ‘Ralph’ don’t we?!
And speaking of books... You can buy Mandy's book (The proud owner of no less than 26 5 star reviews on Amazon alone!) in e-book format.
Well thank you, Mandy, for dropping by. Hope to see you around soon and you can copy and paste that picture of Joey from this feature if you like ;-)
You can reach Mandy at... goodness,
this girl is everywhere. I'll leave a list below. Bye!
